Read a flooring price alongside its area, base condition and exclusions.

Floor laying: what the price includes

Measure the work

Record the floor area and the tile format. Stairs, skirting, diagonal layouts and large-format handling can change the work needed. The same square metres do not always mean the same installation scope.

Materials and preparation relating to this work
The existing surface is part of the specification.

Check what the price covers

Costitalia’s standard porcelain and terracotta laying packages include adhesive, joint filling, ordinary cuts and final cleaning. Tiles and substrate preparation are excluded. Special formats, patterns, stairs and skirting need to be identified separately when requesting a quotation.

Allow for the substrate

Flatness, moisture, existing coverings and movement joints affect the installation. A sound prepared base is a condition of the laying package; remedial work needs its own assessment and price.
