Preparing measurements and materials for the quotation

Place the binder in the pavement design

A binder course is a defined layer, rather than a complete road surface package. Share the pavement build-up and the prepared-base specification so the relationship to drainage, edges and the separate wearing course is clear.

  • Pavement plan and accepted base condition
  • Required finished levels and edge details
  • Access and the sequence of other pavement works

At handover

Review the measured area, finish and agreed details together. Any outstanding items are recorded against the quotation before the work is closed.
